Being a kid of the digital age it really takes a lot for me to play a board game.
My lil sis and girlfriend begged me to play them in a game of monopoly.... lets

New Kids

Selected work from the showing at Lyons Wier. I only had 4 hours to work on each piece, total we created like 15 new works. Hands down the most fun I ever had producing an Art show.

THE FAK'TRY LIVE @ LYONS WIER

All this week we have been doing a Live feed from Lyons Wier Gallery In Chelsea. Its an amazing experience I've had the pleasure of sharing with my brother from another mother Fahmau Pecou.
We've Collab'd on every piece during the course of this show. As of today we will officially be known as "The Hollywood Africans".

"INSTANT ART HISTORY IMMEDIATELY

"INSTANT ART HISTORY IMMEDIATELY: The Fak'try", is a modern day reincarnation of Andy Warhol's hip 60's hangout where artists, musicians, writers, critics and socialites gathered and shared in creative energy and live parties.

The project is a site specific living installation that features Fahamu Pecou and Hebru Brantley performing a Warhol-Basquiat style painting session while their contemporaries, which include a host of artists, musicians, performers etc. take up residence in the space engaging in, well, whatever they want. Photographers and filmmakers will document this momentous history-in-the-making.

Each night features a mini-opening and party
from 7p-12a.
During the course of the week long performance, scenes for the accompanying "mock-umentary" The Fak'try will be filmed.
