So about 2 years ago I was hired to do this installation painting for this chick. After a day of work I and what I thought to be a good start, she calls the interior design at 2 am and tells him she wants me to stop. The next day we paid her a visit and she said she wanted me to stop because I was stealing thoughts and bad memories from her head and she couldn't take it. Did I mention that this Bitch was a serious pot/coke head? The convo got heated and I called her a crazy bitch and stormed outta her crib, never really getting any good flicks of the unfinished work and leaving behind all my cans and paint. That Crazy Bitch!
One of my favorite directors, I had NO idea his illustrative skills were so intense. Check out the website it's an experience. www.moma.org/interactives/exhibitions/2009/timburton/

The Art of Nick Gentry, stolen off the pages of Wooster Collective. I love their blog even though I've sent them my work a zillion times and still no love. ---curse'n under my breath---
If you are a Mos Def fan, and you probably should be, this is going to be a really cool show. HVW8 Gallery in Los Angeles, that has some of the most interesting shows in all of the southland, is hosting a one week exhibition of my man Cognito's (www.frolab.com) photos of Mos Def and the Ecstatic Tour all over the world
He's all I been listening to lately. He's really bringing back the essence of whats faded from hip-hop. Hit the net and grab a Torrent of his work. you wont be disappointed.
